ABOUT US

Modelplast was founded in 1969 starting its business producing models for foundries.

At the end of the 70’s Modelplast expanded its range of workings by adding the production of moulds as well as machined tools for several moulding techniques including thermoforming, rotational moulding, blow moulding and polyurethane injection.

We operate in a wide range of industries including automotive, motor caravan, bathroom furnishing and sanitary fitting, furniture and design, medical sector, cleaning and alternative energy.

We manage the whole product’s production process within our plant by carrying out the following production phases:

careful feasibility study;
mould engineering with CAD-CAM programs;
mould production with documented numerical controls

The complete internal management of the production process enables us to constantly monitor the progress of all phases, ensuring the respect of lead times, quality and maximum confidentiality.

ENGINEERING

Starting from the file sent to us by the Customer, our technical department is able to develop the mould design thanks to cutting-edge three-dimensional CAD-CAM systems.

The product is then ready for production through our 5-axis machines with CAM systems as well as through additional manual machining.

We are able to work on most of the main CAD formats.
